About Nick Georgano, Editor in Chief

Nick Georgano is one of motoring's most highly regarded journalists and historians.

In a lifetime of writing about automobiles, Nick has edited or written 31 titles, many of which are regarded as some of the finest and most enjoyable in their field.

In 1982 The Guild of Motoring Writers honoured him with the Montagu Trophy for his outstanding contribution to motoring journalism with The Complete Encyclopaedia of Motorcars, and again in 1995 for his contribution to Britain's Motor Industry - The First 100 Years.

In America, Nick received the Nicolas Cugnot Award from the Society of Automotive Historians - a further recognition of his achievements.

Nick was Head Librarian at the National Motor Museum from 1976-81 and is a member of the Museum's Advisory Council. He is also a trustee of the Michael Sedgwick Memorial Trust and the Horseless Carriage Foundation, California.
